Clean place, but lacks some basics such as hot water (got above cold, but not quite warm), hooks for towels, coat hangers, and black out curtains. Also, street traffic is noisy, not bad for me, but my wife is a light sleeper. She wore ear plugs and eye mask. The staff were friendly.

Really cute place, clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and the location was great only 2 blocks from the zocolo for the evening festivities. In our room, no. 3, the shower water pressure and temperature was the best in all of Mexico.

Overall, our stay was good. The location is convenient, as the city center, bus station, restaurants, cafés, and even a cenote can all be reached on foot. There are also several good restaurants close to the hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with good air conditioning, a fan, and a smart TV. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they speak very little English. Unfortunately, we were not very attentive and lost our room key, which had a very large keychain with the hotel name and room number on it. Thankfully, it was found again. I would recommend that if the hotel needs a key tag at all, it should include only one piece of information, either the hotel name or the room number, but not both. Even though the staff assured us that Valladolid is safe and that there is a 24/7 reception, we were still a bit worried about our valuables. This is more a general piece of advice than a major complaint. What actually bothered us was the busy road the hotel is located on. Especially in the evenings, it was quite loud in the rooms due to traffic noise.
